Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MailAudit service operated by GoBird OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 17311365, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia; "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

MailAudit is an email deliverability testing service. It analyses the emails you send to a test address (spam score, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, reverse DNS, blacklist status and content), and offers free DNS, blacklist and reputation tools, a REST API used with personal API keys and, for signed-in users, a disposable dev inbox for development and automated tests.

3. Accounts and API Keys

The dashboard, API keys and the dev inbox require signing in with a GoBird account at auth.gobird.io. Keep your API keys secret: we show each key only once and store only a hash of it. API requests are subject to the rate limits shown on the dashboard and in the API documentation. We may revoke keys or suspend access that is used in breach of these terms.

4. Test Emails, Reports and the Dev Inbox

  • Send only content you are entitled to send, and avoid sensitive personal data in test emails.
  • Test addresses are valid for 1 hour. Test results and raw emails are deleted after 30 days; dev inbox messages, their share links and the tests run from them are deleted after 24 hours. Save anything you need before then.
  • Anyone who has the link to a test report or a shared message can view it until it is deleted, so share these links with care.
  • The dev inbox only receives mail. Use it to test your own applications and services, not as a mailbox for real correspondence or for mail addressed to other people.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MailAudit only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Use the service to test emails containing malware, phishing content, or illegal material
  • Attempt to disrupt or overload our systems
  • Use automated tools to send excessive test requests
  • Resell or redistribute our service without authorization
  • Use the service for competitive analysis or reverse engineering

6. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the MailAudit service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of GoBird OÜ and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MailAudit is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our analysis will ensure your emails reach their intended recipients or avoid spam filters.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall GoBird OÜ be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to MailAudit. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are settled by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

If you use MailAudit as a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence and may also bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
